Senior Analyst - Cadence Team
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a full-time Senior Analyst within the Cadence team in the Information Technology Clinical Systems (ITCS) directorate. This role offers the chance to develop your programme management experience within the NHS while supporting the continued optimisation and stability of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR).
About the Role
ITCS Senior Analysts support and maintain a portfolio of Epic and non-Epic systems that underpin the delivery of digital services across Guy's and St Thomas' (GSTT) and King's College Hospital (KCH). We are looking for candidates with strong digital aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and an understanding of NHS workflows. The role requires the ability to manage competing priorities while building effective relationships with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within a supportive team led by an Application Manager and Deputy Application Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders to review, design, configure, test, and deploy Epic workflows and clinical content.
- Provide timely support to end users, resolve system issues, and contribute to optimisation projects, software upgrades, and future platform enhancements.
- Managing, co-ordinating and leading the configuration requirements and ensuring build is delivered in a timely way.
- Working with the appropriate stakeholders to analyse, negotiate and facilitate agreement for change to high-impact or critical workflows and current working practices, whilst managing expectations and resolving conflicts when necessary.
- Being a member of the multi-disciplinary configuration team, ensuring a consistent approach to the configuration and integration between the Epic modules and across the wider team.
- Being a key member of a designated Configuration and Application team ensuring design integrity.
- Analysing and suggest ways to improve current workflows and working practices.
- Assisting with preparation for the testing and upgrading of the system to ensure it is safe, usable, secure and robust.
- Work with the clinical systems teams to support complex Epic, and other, software demonstrations and present information on the team’s progress to the appropriate forums, adapted in a way in which makes it easy for the audience to understand.
- To assist in the delivery of the Trust's EHR system.

Working Conditions
This role requires hybrid working with a 50/50 split and will necessitate travel between Guy's and St. Thomas', King's College Hospital and Royal Brompton and Harefield sites.
