We are working with a leading US law firm who are seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Legal Technology Portfolio, Strategy & Operations team.
This is a senior individual contributor role for an experienced legal technology, AI or product professional who can combine strong product management skills with credibility and confidence working with lawyers and senior stakeholders.
You will own a portfolio of strategically important lawyer facing legal technology and AI applications, spanning areas such as AI research and drafting, document automation, contract analysis and litigation technology. You will manage products through their full lifecycle from evaluation and pilots through onboarding, adoption, performance measurement, renewal and, where appropriate, retirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of an assigned portfolio of legal technology and AI applications.
- Lead technology evaluations, pilots and business cases, providing evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for your portfolio, understanding product capabilities, limitations, market developments and vendor roadmaps.
- Evaluate AI solutions, including output quality, data handling, security, confidentiality and responsible-use considerations.
- Define and track adoption, usage, value and ROI metrics, using data to inform portfolio decisions.
- Partner with lawyers, practice groups and business stakeholders to identify needs and translate them into technology requirements and practical solutions.
- Lead implementations, upgrades, integrations and firmwide technology rollouts, working closely with Engineering, Information Security, Procurement and vendors.
- Monitor developments across the legal technology and AI market and identify emerging opportunities, alternatives and areas for consolidation.
- Manage vendor relationships, renewals and commercial discussions.
- Partner with enablement and knowledge teams to support lawyer adoption and effective use of AI and legal technology.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of product management and portfolio governance practices.

- Experience in product management, technology delivery or IT project management, with meaningful legal technology experience.
- Experience owning technology products through a full lifecycle, from evaluation and implementation through adoption, measurement and renewal or retirement.
- Hands-on experience evaluating or managing AI-enabled applications, with an understanding of output quality, data handling and responsible AI considerations.
- Strong knowledge of the legal technology landscape, such as AI research and drafting, document management, contract lifecycle management, document automation, eDiscovery or litigation technology.
- Experience running pilots, developing business cases and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to use adoption and usage data to support investment decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate effectively between lawyers, technical teams and vendors.
- Experience working with Information Security, Procurement and Engineering teams.
- A strong interest in emerging legal technology and AI, with a proactive approach to market intelligence and innovation.
