Job Description:

OMD’s Decisions Science team plays a vital role in ensuring that our clients realise the full potential of their marketing investment for maximum growth.

You are starting to manage projects and lead elements of delivery to enable clients to make the best decisions around their marketing spend.

You will be a hands-on modeller and will also support Analysts in creating and updating models. Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will have an understanding of client needs, the commercials behind them and how this translates to our scope of work. As a Senior Analyst you will contribute to our scoping and delivery of insightful and profitable projects.

TALENT & CULTURE:

You will have project management responsibility for Analysts. Therefore, we expect you to be a role model for the junior members of the analytics team, and to set high-quality standards of work. You should show particular aptitude for helping members of the team develop their technical skills, and will become a ‘go-to expert’ for others who wish to develop modelling skills.

You will begin to take on day-to-day coaching and development of more junior members of the team with oversight of their tasks and outputs, including some line management responsibility.

FUTURE GROWTH & PRODUCT:

We want someone enthusiastic about creating something new, who is excited to contribute to the development of new solutions and analytical approaches – working closely with other specialist services, agency teams, and the wider analytics teams.

TECHNICAL CABILITIES:

The successful Senior Analyst will have outstanding technical knowledge of how to build and update robust econometric models. Full understanding of the technical side of modelling is essential, as well as the ability to master new analytical approaches. You will complement this technical knowledge with ideas of how to apply the results of models in a commercial context, and how to communicate this to clients.

We don’t believe any one tool fits all but look for excellent use of a mix of R, SQL, Python, Excel, PowerPoint and other approaches.

You can ensure modelling output is technically excellent and addresses client questions; you can ensure that all output is fit for purpose, consistent and accurate.
