SENIOR ANALYST | FUND SERVICES
Location: London
Are you a part-qualified or qualified accountant with experience within fund accounting, fund administration or financial services?
We are currently working with a growing and highly regarded financial services business that is looking to appoint a Senior Analyst to join its Fund Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career within a specialist fund environment, working across a portfolio of clients and gaining exposure to accounting, reporting and investor servicing.
The Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will take ownership of key accounting and reporting activities across a portfolio of clients. You will have exposure to a broad range of fund accounting responsibilities while working closely with clients, investors, auditors and advisers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts, NAV reporting and financial statements
- Preparing and reviewing capital calls, distributions and investor reporting
- Calculating and reviewing management fees, investment interest and other fund-level calculations
- Managing day-to-day client relationships and responding to client queries
- Ensuring accounting records are complete, accurate and maintained to a high standard
- Coordinating with investors and internal teams on regulatory and compliance requirements
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing guidance and feedback
- Supporting and developing junior members of the team
- Managing reporting timetables, priorities and deadlines across a portfolio of clients
- Working closely with clients, investors, auditors and advisers
- Supporting process improvements and contributing to the development of the wider team

About You
We are looking for an ambitious accounting or fund services professional who is keen to take the next step in their career.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience within fund accounting, fund administration, financial services, private equity, venture capital or a similar environment
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, ideally including NAV reporting, management accounts and investor allocations
- Experience with capital calls, distributions and/or investor reporting
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Experience reviewing work or supporting more junior team members would be advantageous
- Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
