Job Description
Work Model: In-office, 4 days per week
Role Overview
Own the commercial analytics infrastructure that tells the story of how Fluence sells across every region it operates in. As Fluence evolves a dashboard suite covering sales funnel performance, pipeline and revenue forecasting, Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) reporting, and broader sales operations and strategy topics across multiple regional markets, this role steps in to take operational ownership of those assets, and evolve them into the analytical backbone of the global sales and growth organization. Working directly in Salesforce, Tableau, and Salesforce CRM Analytics, and bringing strong applied knowledge of AI-assisted analytics to bear on complex commercial questions, you will serve as the primary analytics partner for Sales Market leaders and the wider business development community — translating CRM data, market signals, and SIP mechanics into the funnel visibility and performance insight the business needs to allocate resources and close deals. It is a role built for an analyst who wants scope, not just tasks: a mandate that spans geographies, tools, and the full commercial funnel, with direct exposure to how Fluence makes its most consequential sales decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Inherit and take full operational ownership of the Sales Operations and Strategy dashboard suite, covering sales funnel performance, pipeline and revenue forecasting, SIP reporting, and sales operations and strategy analytics across multiple regional markets.
- Serve as the primary analytics resource for the global sales and growth organization — translating Salesforce and market data into clear, decision-ready intelligence for Sales Market leaders and senior commercial leadership.
- Evolve the dashboard suite continuously: identify analytical gaps, develop new metrics and views as the business grows, and maintain data integrity and performance across Tableau and Salesforce CRM Analytics.
- Own SIP reporting end-to-end: track attainment, validate plan mechanics, support Finance and HR on periodic plan reviews, and ensure business development teams have timely, accurate visibility into their own performance.
- Apply AI-assisted analytics techniques to improve the speed, depth, and scalability of commercial reporting across the organization.
- Partner closely with Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Finance, and regional business development teams to ensure reporting definitions, data inputs, and analytical frameworks remain current, consistent, and trusted.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Three to five years of experience in sales operations analytics, commercial analytics, or business intelligence, ideally in a B2B technology, industrial, or energy company.
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with Salesforce, Tableau, and Salesforce CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics); strong applied knowledge of AI-assisted analytics tools and workflows.
- Degree in a quantitative or business field from a strong academic institution preferred.
- Ability to operate independently on complex, multi-variable analytical problems and communicate findings clearly to commercial and executive audiences without losing analytical rigor.
- Coding fluency in SQL, Python, or similar is a plus, not a requirement.
- Energy sector background is a plus; what the role requires above all else is rigorous analytical instincts, commercial curiosity, and the discipline to keep shared data assets accurate and trustworthy.
