Senior Analytics Consultant
Brighton/Remote
Up to £90,000
The Overview
This is an opportunity to join a growing specialist data consultancy that delivers high-impact analytics and data platform projects for a diverse client base. Working at the intersection of analytics engineering, cloud data platforms, governance, and AI-enabled analytics, you will have the chance to influence both technical delivery and client strategy in a highly visible role.

Working across sectors including financial services, technology, retail, healthcare, and education, they partner with clients to deliver cloud-based analytics solutions, semantic modelling, governance frameworks, and self-service reporting environments.
Their team is intentionally small and collaborative, providing consultants with direct exposure to clients, solution design, and business decision-making. They are experiencing strong growth and have built a reputation for high-quality delivery, long-term client relationships, and innovative analytics solutions.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering client projects while acting as a trusted advisor on analytics and data strategy.

Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering analytics solutions using Google Cloud, BigQuery, dbt, and Looker
- Building scalable data models, semantic layers, and reporting solutions
- Leading workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions
- Managing multiple client engagements and balancing competing priorities
- Providing guidance on analytics strategy, governance, and self-service analytics
- Leading technical conversations and presenting recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Supporting solution architecture for modern data platforms
- Identifying opportunities for account growth, renewals, and project extensions
- Mentoring colleagues and contributing to internal best practices
- Supporting innovation initiatives across AI, analytics engineering, and modern data technologies
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Google Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery
- Strong experience using dbt in production environments
- Strong experience developing solutions in Looker
- Previous consulting or professional services experience
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD processes
- Proven ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders
- Experience leading technical discussions and recommending solutions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience delivering scalable analytics, reporting, or data platform solutions
- Exposure to analytics governance, semantic modelling, or self-service analytics is beneficial
- Google Cloud certifications or a willingness to work towards them would be advantageous
