Senior Analytics Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 DOE

Industry: Investment Management

The Opportunity

I'm currently working with a leading global private markets investment firm, as they continue to invest in and expand their internal data capability. With over €20 billion of assets under management and investment strategies spanning Europe and North America, they are committed to using technology and data to drive smarter decision-making and long-term value creation.

As part of an exciting period of growth, they're looking to hire a Senior Analytics Engineer to play a key role in building out their data function. You'll help shape the firm's modern analytics platform, working across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and AI-enabled solutions to deliver trusted, scalable data products that support investment teams and business stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business at the start of its data transformation journey, where you'll have genuine influence over architecture, governance and the future direction of analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Develop robust ELT/ETL pipelines and data models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and semantic models for business users.
  • Champion data governance, data quality and best practices across the organisation.
  • Work closely with investment, finance and operational stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Help establish a trusted, centralised data platform and single source of truth.
  • Explore and implement AI-driven capabilities to improve reporting, automation and business insight.
  • Optimise performance, reliability and scalability across the analytics environment.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and promote engineering best practices.
  • Support the continued growth and maturity of the wider data function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
