Senior Analytics Engineer – Transforming Data into Commercial Value
About the Role
The Senior Analytics Engineer sits at the critical junction of Data Analysis and Data Engineering. Their primary mission is to bridge raw data and actionable commercial insights. This role demands agility—leveraging cutting-edge tech stacks and AI acceleration to rapidly prototype solutions before scaling dashboards and tools effectively.
As a Senior member of the team, the ideal candidate will champion data best practices and ensure high-impact technical delivery as an Individual Contributor. Additionally, they will mentor junior analysts to elevate their data modeling and software engineering skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise modular data pipelines, supporting both batch and real-time workflows across hybrid cloud environments.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams and analysts to drive innovation, accelerating validation of prototypes.
- Implement scalable datawarehouse architectures, ensuring clean, efficient transformation of raw data into actionable insights.
- Champion best practices in data modelling and performance tuning, mentoring colleagues to adopt high-calibre standards.
- Utilise advanced querying techniques to extract meaningful patterns and trends from structured/unstructured data.
