Senior / Lead Analytics Engineer
6 Month Rolling Contract - Inside IR35
Fully Remote
We're working with a high-growth Fintech looking for a Senior / Lead Analytics Engineer to join their expanding data function.
This is an end-to-end role within a collaborative analytics environment, where you'll work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, shape data solutions and build scalable data models.
Key Responsibilities
- Own analytics projects from requirements gathering through to delivery
- Design and build scalable data models using dbt and BigQuery
- Work with incremental data and modern data modelling approaches
- Collaborate with Data Engineering around data ingestion and source systems
- Build trusted datasets and reporting solutions
- Contribute to data architecture, testing and documentation
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Key Experience
- Strong commercial experience as a Senior / Lead Analytics Engineer
- Excellent SQL, dbt and BigQuery skills
- Experience working with GCP
- Strong data modelling experience, including incremental models
- Understanding of modern data architecture / Medallion Architecture
- Proven experience delivering data solutions end-to-end
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working autonomously in a distributed team

- Looker / LookML experience
- Fintech or Financial Services experience
- Experience mentoring or technically leading other Analytics Engineers
