Senior Analytics Engineer - SaaS
Location: London
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000
Take ownership of analytics engineering within a growing SaaS business. Build reliable data foundations that support product and commercial decisions. Our client is looking for a hands-on Analytics Engineer at senior to lead level. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building reliable data models, understanding business needs, and seeing their work make a measurable difference.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data, you’ll work across product, engineering, finance, and commercial teams to identify priorities and build practical solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

- Building and maintaining reliable data models and infrastructure.
- Developing data solutions that support product performance and commercial reporting.
- Translating stakeholder questions into clear requirements and useful insights.
- Improving data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the business.
- Prioritising work based on business value and measuring its impact.
- Helping teams use data confidently in their day-to-day decisions.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with commercial awareness and confidence working with stakeholders. You’ll bring:
- Strong SQL, data modelling, and Python skills.
- Experience working with a modern cloud data warehouse.
- Experience delivering data solutions in a SaaS environment.
- The ability to turn ambiguous business problems into practical technical solutions.
- Confidence explaining complex topics simply and challenging assumptions.
- A track record of prioritising work and demonstrating the impact of what you’ve delivered.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up, or working with product and revenue data, would be beneficial.
