Win As a Team

The Senior Analytics and Insight Consultant will be responsible for defining the Analytics & Insights strategy and roadmap and defines and publishes standards, guardrails and controls for insights and analytics generation in Intact. Working closely with, and in coordination with other CDO capabilities. Ensuring that Business stakeholder and analytics teams can derive maximum value from the data platform and analytics tooling. and overseeing the coordination of analytics efforts across Intact including developing and managing communities of practise.

You’ll Make An Impact By

  • Analytics & Insight Strategy: Define and drive the strategy for Analytics and insight generation, ensuring alignment with RSA’s business goals and data strategy.
  • Thought leadership: Provide thought leadership and imbed best practice in insight/analytics creation and data maximisation
  • Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap that outlines the delivery and evolution of analytic and insights capabilities, ensuring they meet current and future business needs.
  • Ownership and Governance: Own the Analytics tools, including overseeing their ongoing maintenance and governance, ensuring they remain relevant, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. Establish and enforce standards, guardrails and controls for insight creation/tool usage
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Define & Implement the Hub and Spoke model, ensure roles and responsibilities are defined and understood. Collaborate with business units, data teams, and technology groups to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and ensure we maximize adoption of the data platform and analytics tools for driving data-driven decision-making

Your Skills And Experience

  • Extensive experience in managing analytics and insight enablement particularly tools, process and operating models, with a proven track record of delivering successful adoption of analytics and insight best practices.
  • Strong background in the financial services or insurance industry, with an understanding of how Analytics & insight creation can drive business value in these sectors.
  • Experience with driving best practice use and adoption of analytics tools such as Power BI, SAS and Data science tools such as Databricks with an understanding of how to leverage these platforms for advanced analytics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams and specifically analytics teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive product improvements.
