Senior Analytics Manager
Location: London
Salary: Up to £110,000

This role will be instrumental in helping define that future.
The Role
As a Senior Analytics Manager, you will operate as a strategic and technical leader, but not a people manager, within the analytics function, driving initiatives that improve how data is accessed, governed, and used across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving analytics innovation by identifying practical opportunities created by AI, modern analytics tooling, and evolving data platforms
- Helping define and deliver strategies for semantic layers, self-service analytics, and metric governance
- Raising technical standards across the analytics community, improving quality, consistency, and scalability
- Partnering with Product, Data, Engineering, and Analytics leaders to shape the future direction of analytics
- Influencing and coaching analysts and analytics leaders through expertise rather than line management
- Leading experimentation with emerging technologies and scaling successful solutions
- Owning and evolving strategically important analytics products, reporting frameworks, and executive-level metrics
- Defining and governing key business concepts and performance measures used across the organisation
- Influencing platform, tooling, and architectural decisions to maximise value for analytics users
- Acting as a trusted strategic and technical advisor across the wider analytics function

Your Skills & Experience

- Strong commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, data strategy, or a closely related discipline
- Exceptional technical capability across coding, data modelling, analytics tooling, and modern analytics architectures
- Experience designing or working with semantic layers, metric governance frameworks, and self-service analytics environments
- Strong knowledge of modern BI platforms and analytics best practices
- Experience with DBT, particularly MetricFlow, would be highly beneficial
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful change without formal authority
- A strong understanding of how AI is transforming analytics and data-driven decision making
- Experience evaluating emerging technologies and identifying practical opportunities to improve insight generation and ways of working
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and provide clarity, direction, and strategic thinking during periods of change
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
