Senior Anaplan Specialist

Are you passionate about transforming financial planning processes through innovative enterprise planning solutions and scalable system architecture? We are seeking a Senior Anaplan Specialist to lead the evolution of enterprise planning systems, drive strategic financial modeling initiatives, and deliver scalable solutions that empower business stakeholders with accurate, efficient, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise planning and forecasting systems.
- Design, build, and maintain complex financial planning models that support budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Drive the implementation of new platform features, system enhancements, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Develop and manage integrations between planning platforms and other enterprise applications, ensuring data accuracy and seamless workflows.
- Automate data processes and improve system efficiency through scalable architecture and best-practice design standards.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Data, and Technology teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Establish governance standards, model-building frameworks, and operational procedures to ensure platform reliability and scalability.
- Support user adoption through training, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Partner with senior leadership to align system capabilities with long-term business and planning objectives.
- Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve planning processes, reporting capabilities, and overall user experience.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Valid Anaplan Solution Architect, Master Anaplanner, or equivalent advanced Anaplan certification.
- Proven experience implementing and supporting enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex Anaplan models.
- Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience designing integrations between planning platforms and enterprise systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders.
- Experience leading complex projects from requirements gathering through deployment and post-implementation support.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise planning workflows, scenario modeling, and advanced forecasting solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Workday, OneStream, BigQuery, cloud-based data platforms, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of financial systems architecture, data integration frameworks, and automation practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale global planning environments.
- Understanding of system governance, controls, security, and best practices for enterprise planning platforms.
- Experience delivering user training, change management initiatives, and process improvement programs.
