Senior Android Engineer | FinTech | Leeds - Hybrid | Kotlin | Up to £85k
Are you the Android Engineer who does more than just pick up the next ticket?
I'm working with a growing FinTech who are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join an already strong mobile engineering team.
They've got the technical talent. What they're looking for now is someone who can bring the leadership, ownership and personality to help bring that team together.
The Opportunity
You'll be working on a modern, customer-facing banking app, taking real end-to-end ownership of what you build.
That could mean spotting a problem before it becomes a ticket, challenging how something is being done, improving releases or testing, mentoring another Engineer or simply getting the right people around a table to make a decision.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
