Senior Android Engineer | Fully Remote | £100k-£120k
A fast-growing AI company with $100m+ in funding is building a new generation of AI-native applications designed to change how people manage work and everyday life.
Rather than another chatbot, the product is a unified AI workspace connecting email, Slack, Lark and other communication platforms, with AI agents capable of coordinating tasks, conversations and scheduling autonomously.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Android Developer to own the mobile experience and help define how AI feels, behaves and performs on mobile.
You'll be building a production AI application where streaming, latency, reliability and non-deterministic behaviour are fundamental to the product.

What You'll Do
- Build and maintain production Android applications using Kotlin.
- Integrate LLMs, voice, vision and AI-powered features through backend APIs.
- Build UX for streaming responses, retries, partial results and long-running workflows.
- Work closely with backend and ML engineers on APIs and system behaviour.
- Optimise performance, memory usage and responsiveness.
- Implement analytics, logging and feedback mechanisms to improve AI performance.
- Explore on-device AI using MLKit / TensorFlow Lite.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML features, such as LLMs, speech or vision.
- Strong Coroutines and Flow experience.
- Experience with REST/gRPC APIs.
- Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
- Comfortable building products dealing with latency, partial failures and non-deterministic behaviour.
- Experience with MLKit or TensorFlow Lite is a plus.
- Experience shipping production apps to the Google Play Store.
