Role: Senior Application Developer –.NET & Azure Integration Services
Location: London, UK
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Application Developer –.NET & Azure Integration Services who can independently design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions.
The candidate will work on an Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) built on Microsoft Azure and should have strong experience in .NET Core, Azure Integration Services, APIs, asynchronous messaging, integration patterns, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automated CI/CD deployments.
Years of experience needed: 12-15 Years of Experience in .Net full stack Development.
Technical Skills: Must Have
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and ability to contribute to solution and technical design discussions
- Good knowledge and practical application of design patterns
- Good understanding of distributed application and integration architecture patterns (e.g. Microservices, Event-driven architecture, Publish/Subscribe etc.)
- Ability to define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
- Understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and separation of concerns
- Make technology decisions aligned with business goals and scalability requirements
- Ability to translate architecture and solution designs into high-quality working software

Cloud & Azure Services
- Strong hands-on experience in design, develop, and deploy applications using Microsoft Azure using following services particularly:
- Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure API Management
- Azure App Services
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Storage
- Azure Application Gateway
- Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
- Good understanding of secure enterprise application development in Azure
- Implement cloud-native solutions focusing on security, scalability, and performance
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications in Azure environments
Infrastructure-as-Code & DevOps
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code principles
- Ability to provision and configure Azure resources using Bicep/ terraform
- Good exposure and experience of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) tools and end-to-end solutions like (Azure DevOps, Github)
- Experience with source control, pull requests, branching strategies, and code reviews
Core Technical Skills
- Programming experience in Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .Net Core, Web API, Multi-threading)
- Actively contribute to development using C#,.NET Core, ASP.NET Core
- Knowledge of MVC Framework
- Work with relational databases to design and optimize data models
- Must have used/worked on Sql Server
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
- Strong understanding of enterprise application integration concepts and integration architecture
- Experience designing and developing integrations between cloud, on-premises, and third-party applications
- Good understanding of API contracts, authentication, authorization, and secure service-to-service communication
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP/Restful), RESTful APIs, test-driven development, and cloud development
- Exposure in hosting and setting up container-based applications
- Experience is API Gateway Management services
- Exposure to Caching Framework like (Redis, Apache Ignite etc)
- Exposure to Log Monitoring Tools like (Elastic Search & Splunk etc)
- The ability to understand and support, modify, and maintain systems and code developed by other engineering teams

Soft Skills
- Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills
- Proven experience working directly with customer technical stakeholders and leadership teams
- Ability to influence technical decisions through strong communication and consultative engagement
- Strong facilitation skills for workshops, solution discussions, and technical governance meetings
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations in complex enterprise delivery environments
Good to have:
- Experience within Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, or another regulated industry would be preferred
- Worked in Agile Development Environment
- Exposed to Scrum method
- Team handling experience
