Role Description

The Senior Application Developer role at Nebula is a part-time position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows some work from home. In this role, the developer will design, build, and maintain web and application solutions that support Nebula’s marketing platforms and internal systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The Senior Application Developer is expected to provide technical guidance, contribute to architectural decisions, and help establish best practices for software development within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong Software Development and Programming skills across relevant languages and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Databases, including design, querying, optimization, and data integrity.
  • Proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and front-end implementation for responsive, accessible interfaces.
  • Practical experience with Integration between applications, APIs, and third-party services.
  • Understanding of web application architecture, security principles, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to gather requirements and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in a senior or lead developer role, including code reviews and mentoring less experienced developers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment in the London Area, with strong time management and self-organization skills.
