Role: Senior Application Security Engineer
Location: UK Remote
Salary: up to £140,000 fixed + annual bonus
Reporting Line: Head of Security Engineering
Lawrence Harvey are partnered with a scale-up financial technology firm that are a market-leader within the payments space. You'll be joining a growing security engineering team and work closely with software and platform engineering teams to embed security throughout the SDLC.
This is an excellent hands-on opportunity that also gives you the autonomy and influence to shape how application security is embedded across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Embed security across the SDLC, CI/CD and engineering processes
- Conduct threat modelling, code reviews and security architecture assessments
- Secure crypto wallets, transaction flows, key management and blockchain integrations
- Own SAST/DAST/SCA tooling and integrate into CI/CD
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience across Security Engineering, ideally with a focus on Application Security
- Background in Penetration Testing/Red Teaming/Offensive Security is highly advantageous
- Strong hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, SCA and CI/CD security
- Scripting/development skills in Python or Golang
- Crypto/Blockchain or smart-contract security experience highly desired
