Application AI Security Specialist
As a supplier to one of our biggest organisations, I am seeking an Application AI Security Specialist for a 6+ months contract in Coventry.
Responsibilities:
The role focuses on strengthening the security, governance and resilience of enterprise applications, cloud-native services, APIs and AI platforms across Azure and AWS. Working closely with development, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, you will support application security, DevSecOps, cloud security governance and AI risk management initiatives.

Experience:
- Experience in application security, cloud security or cybersecurity engineering.
- Strong understanding of web application security and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Hands-on experience with Azure WAF and/or AWS WAF.
- Strong API security knowledge covering authentication, authorisation, encryption and monitoring.
- Experience with Azure and AWS cloud-native security services.
- Knowledge of Azure Key Vault, AWS KMS, Thales CipherTrust or similar platforms.
- Understanding of SSDLC, CI/CD security and DevSecOps.
- Experience with application security reviews, threat modelling and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of AI/LLM security risks, governance frameworks and data protection requirements.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
