Join us as a Senior Applied AI Engineer - Markets Sales Technology

Help make better use of data across our Markets business through analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions. You will work with business partners, technology teams, and governance functions to develop data products and insights that support business outcomes, enhance risk oversight, and improve operational efficiency.

In this role, you will engineer agentic and AI-enabled capabilities that connect models, data, APIs, workflows, and user actions into safe, scalable, and production-ready application experiences. This is an opportunity to build practical AI at scale, working across front-office technology, engineering, data, architecture, controls, and central AI teams to deliver intelligent automation and meaningful business outcomes.

To be successful as a Senior Applied AI Engineer - Markets Sales Technology, you must have the following essential skills:

  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying analytics, machine learning, and AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java and SQL, with knowledge of statistical modelling, machine learning, and data science techniques applied within enterprise environments.
  • Ability to move AI capabilities from discovery through delivery, collaborating with business and technology partners and communicating technical concepts to a range of audiences.

Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include

  • Experience within banking, financial services, or capital markets, particularly supporting Markets or front-office business areas.
  • Knowledge of generative AI techniques, including natural language processing, document intelligence, retrieval-augmented generation, or insight-led solutions.
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms, cloud-based analytics environments, MLOps practices, and AI governance frameworks.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
