Synopsis:
We are looking for a Senior Applied AI Scientist who wants to help our customers achieve ROI from their first party behavioural data, by delivering cutting edge Behavioural AI solutions across our Agentic AI product stack. The role will help our customers unravel the complexities of behavioural AI for large and mid-market organisations with a passion for insights and personalisation.
The Opportunity:
The role will work with our product, engineering and customer success teams. It requires direct expertise with deep learning statistical models that power AI, such as Transformers, and is focused on providing the quality of predictive and prescriptive insight that our customers need to achieve great outcomes when they leveraging our behavioural AI technology. This job particularly suits data scientists who have experience working with customers, internal and external, that are able to understand customer ways of thinking and understand what they truly value.

The role is expected to include projects across our cross-functional teams:
- Development of our core product behavioural models, working directly within our product, AI and engineering delivery pods
- Prototyping new solutions with customer data, working with our client success team to understand customer need and translate this into new behavioural insight prototypes for future product integration
- Behavioural AI model research and development
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build core behavioural models as tooling for our behavioural AI product, using bleeding edge deep learning techniques
- Developing client prototypes of new behavioural insight to prove value and then push upstream into our core capabilities where appropriate
- Ideate and prove out new, cutting edge DS techniques that will accelerate our value, enhance our product and grow our business
- Help our customers understand how to leverage our behavioural insights as features in their own models
- Work directly with customers to understand the problems that they face, and learn which kinds of behavioural insight will truly deliver ROI
- Act as an evangelist and storyteller for behavioural data science in the context of agentic AI
- Become a champion of Data Science and Applied AI internally and participate in our data science community
Skills and experience:
Essential
- The most important requirement is the ability to creatively think through our customer’s challenges and solve problems that will enable us to productise the science that will deliver customer ROI
- The ability to work with agents and harnesses to deliver deployable, production-ready code as part of our product and engineering pods
- Knowledge and experience of building and evaluating machine learning models in areas such as clustering, sequence modelling, transformers, and other natural language processing and deep learning.
- Experience working closely and collaboratively with internal and external business stakeholders to understand their needs
- Passionate about communicating and are able to translate technical content in commercial terms for non-technical stakeholders, such as customers, sales and product teams

- B2B product experience
- Experience with Spark SQL, PySpark, databricks
- Experience with CausalAI modelling frameworks (e.g. dowhy, econml)
