DeepRec.ai is partnering with a fast-growing London AI startup to hire a Senior Applied Scientist / Data Scientist.

About the company

Our client helps HR Tech vendors, staffing firms and employers prove and improve the fairness, accuracy and compliance of their AI hiring systems. They grew their customer base tenfold in 2025 and have already more than doubled ARR this year. Much of that growth comes from customers promoting them, because the company's audits help them win their own deals.

The role

You'll run highly defensible bias audits of high-stakes AI systems, used by everyone from startups to industry-leading enterprises. Regulators, courts, customers and candidates rely on these audits, so the methodology has to hold up. The work spans AI system evaluation, rigorous statistical analysis, synthetic data generation and hiring and selection science. You'll report to the CTO and work closely with the founders and product team. As one of a small number of data hires, you'll have real scope to shape the analytical function and your own role as the company grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
