Senior Design Architect | London | £65,000–£68,000
We’re looking for a talented Senior Design Architect to join an established studio delivering exceptional bespoke residential projects for private clients.
This is an opportunity to lead the early design stages of prestigious projects, working closely with the Directors from initial brief through to RIBA Stage 3. You’ll shape compelling concepts, guide planning strategy and ensure the design transfers confidently to the technical delivery team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading concept and developed design from client brief to RIBA Stage 3
- Creating and presenting persuasive proposals using freehand sketches, diagrams and digital modelling
- Managing planning and listed-building consent work, including Design and Access Statements
- Representing projects in discussions with planning and design officers
- Coordinating Directors, consultants, junior colleagues and technical teams to maintain design quality

We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- ARB registered and Part III qualified, with at least five years’ UK post-Part III experience
- An exceptional conceptual designer with strong freehand sketching, visualisation and presentation skills
- Experienced in leading luxury residential or boutique hospitality projects, ideally valued at £5m+
- Confident working directly with clients, leading workshops and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Highly organised, detail-focused and passionate about bespoke residential architecture
