Senior Architect / Architectural Technologist
At ctd Architects, an award-winning, design-led architectural practice based in Leek, Staffordshire, we're looking for an experienced Senior Architect or Architectural Technologist to join our growing team. The Role
This is a full-time, permanent position where you will play a key role in leading projects through the technical and construction stages. You'll be given responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work directly with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
You will:
- Lead projects through Building Regulations, Tender, and Construction stages.
- Prepare technical and tender documentation and manage project delivery on site.
- Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and collaborate with colleagues across the practice.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
About You
We're looking for a motivated and talented professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects and working collaboratively within a team environment.

Ideally, you will have:
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience producing Building Regulations and tender packages.
- Experience in administering construction contracts.
- Proven site and construction-stage experience.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- BIM experience, preferably Autodesk Revit (training available if needed).
- Healthcare sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Location & Working Pattern
We offer a modern working arrangement, with the majority of work undertaken from our office in Leek, Staffordshire.
