Senior Architect – Cultural & Heritage | London
An established, award-winning architectural practice is looking for a Senior Architect to join its London team, working on significant cultural projects across central London.
This is a hands-on leadership role, working across RIBA Stages 2–6 and combining contemporary design with heritage and conservation. You’ll lead teams, manage project workstreams and work closely with clients, consultants, and senior leadership.
The role
- Lead architectural delivery across RIBA Stages 2–6
- Manage projects or key packages on major cultural schemes
- Lead and support teams of architects and assistants
- Drive design quality, technical delivery, and project outcomes
- Coordinate clients, consultants, and wider project teams
- Contribute to technical reviews, design development, and problem-solving
- Support the development and mentoring of team members

About you
- 3–7 years’ post-qualification experience
- ARB registered and RIBA/RICS qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience across RIBA Stages 2–6
- Experience leading major or complex projects
- Strong technical design, detailing, and project-running skills
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning
- Experience with existing or historic buildings
- Conservation experience or a strong interest in heritage is desirable
- Confident communicator with strong client and team skills
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
