About the Opportunity
We are working closely with a major international architecture practice to make the next strategic hire into its London Education team.
Having already successfully recruited into the team, we’ve seen first-hand the type of Architects who succeeds here… and this next appointment is an important one!
There are established Education projects currently sitting with senior members of the practice. They now want somebody in London with the experience and ambition to take ownership of them.
Key Responsibilities
You will have the flexibility to work from the London studio around two days per week, but this is anything but a remote production role.
- Become the Architect who knows the project.
- Be the person the client calls.
- Lead the consultant team, making decisions and driving delivery.
- Design and deliver hands-on in Revit, close to the detail and close to the project.

The Team
Small team. Serious Education expertise.
- You will have the visibility and autonomy of a relatively small London team, backed by the expertise of a major international practice.
- The business operates as a multi-office campus, bringing Education specialists together across locations rather than keeping knowledge within individual studios. That means access to recognised sector leaders and experienced specialists across the UK and internationally.
- You will be trusted to own your projects but you won’t be expected to have every answer yourself. There is an established network around you to challenge, support, and help you succeed.
- Real autonomy, without being on your own.
The Work
The team has an established pipeline of Education projects, including significant DfE programmes and schools across the UK.
- This isn't a role created in anticipation of work that might arrive.
- There are live projects and genuine responsibility waiting for the right person right now.
- The practice also works closely with major contractors across its Education portfolio, giving you the opportunity to remain involved through the technical and delivery stages rather than seeing projects disappear once the design work is finished.
Ideal Candidate

But there are three things that genuinely matter…
- Meaningful DfE experience
- Comfortable working in Revit
- Ability to run projects and deal with clients yourself
You might currently be a Project Architect ready for greater ownership, an established Senior Architect, or even operating at Associate level but wanting to remain closer to projects with greater flexibility.
The title matters less than your ability… and appetite… to take responsibility.
