Location: Leicester
Salary: GBP 40,48,000
A unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Architect to join a growing team based in Leicester, delivering bespoke residential projects for clients with disabilities arising from personal injury or clinical negligence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role, including managing and developing a team.
- Strong residential design ability, combined with excellent attention to detail.
- A thorough understanding of Building Regulations and Accessible Design.
- Strong technical design and detailing knowledge.
- The ability to oversee projects and ensure high-quality procedures and standards are consistently maintained.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, consultants, solicitors, Planning Authorities, and Building Control.
- Experience using AutoCAD and knowledge of NBS Specification.
- A practical, proactive, and creative approach to problem-solving, with contract administration experience being advantageous.

Role
- Leading and developing a team while helping to maintain the highest standards of design and project delivery.
- Taking responsibility for delivering high-quality architectural projects from initial design through to completion.
- Working on bespoke residential adaptations, rental property adaptations, and new-build homes.
- Managing complex and individual client requirements with a thoughtful and practical problem-solving approach.
- Liaising confidently with clients, consultants, solicitors, Planning Authorities, and Building Control.
- Overseeing project quality and ensuring technical and design standards are maintained throughout.
- Playing an important role in the continued growth and development of the department as part of its leadership team.
- Working on projects nationally, with regular travel required as part of the role.
