About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior Architect to join our progressive Architectural team in London, Nottingham, or Bristol. You’ll become part of a growing and evolving division, leading a range of design and sustainability projects, including our work with the Ministry of Justice on the Future Prisons Programme — a sole supplier framework expected to continue over several years.

Our Architectural team works across an array of sectors, including blue light, commercial, custodial, education, healthcare, industrial, leisure, and residential. If you have experience delivering within any of these areas, we encourage you to apply.

As a Senior Architect, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, taking responsibility for leading the design team and supporting successful project delivery across the RIBA stages. You will work across a varied programme of work within the custodial sector, providing breadth and variety while enabling you to shape projects from early design through to delivery. Your focus will be on providing exceptional service while delivering creative, sustainable, and technically excellent solutions for our clients.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:

• Working closely with the Project Director to develop, manage, and oversee project briefs, fee proposals, programmes, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and efficiently.
• Leading the design, technical detailing, specification, and coordination of projects, driving high-quality outcomes across all project stages.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and the wider project team, building strong relationships and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Planning, organising, and chairing project meetings, design reviews, and coordination workshops to ensure progress and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring the successful integration of all disciplines.
• Keeping the Project Director or Senior Architectural Lead informed of project progress, risks, and opportunities, seeking guidance and support where required.
