About the Role
The Senior Architect at Alteryx is a highly technical, customer-facing professional responsible for designing and guiding scalable, production-ready implementations across the Alteryx One platform ecosystem.
In this role, you will partner directly with enterprise customers to design solutions, guide implementation best practices, and ensure successful adoption of Alteryx. Senior Architects work closely with Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Experience teams to align technical architectures with customer data strategies and business objectives.
This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy solving complex analytics challenges, working directly with customers, and helping organizations operationalize analytics automation at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Design and guide scalable deployments across the Alteryx One platform, including Designer, Server, and cloud-native capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer technical stakeholders throughout implementation and adoption phases.
- Lead architecture discussions and solution design for analytics workflows, integrations, and enterprise data environments.
- Guide customers on best practices for analytics governance, platform administration, and scalable deployment patterns.
- Support implementation planning including environment architecture, upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering during opportunities to validate architecture approaches and delivery feasibility.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform adoption and long-term customer success.
- Develop architectural documentation and implementation guidance for customers.
- Share technical knowledge internally to strengthen architectural standards and delivery best practices.

Technical Expertise
- Experience designing solutions across modern cloud data platforms, including Google BigQuery / Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure data services.
- Familiarity with enterprise analytics architectures, governed analytics pipelines, and modern data engineering practices.
- Experience integrating analytics platforms into complex enterprise data ecosystems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Architect, Consultant, TAM, Presales Engineer, etc.).
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise analytics or data platform solutions.
- Strong expertise with Alteryx Designer and Server; Alteryx Core Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cloud ecosystems including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and Azure.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
