Location: London

Salary: GBP 45,550 to 55,000 (dependent on Experience)

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a well-established and respected architectural practice in London. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, the practice is looking for a technically skilled individual to support the successful delivery of projects from detailed design through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team working on a varied portfolio of projects, with clear opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and comprehensive construction packages using Revit.
  • Lead the technical delivery of projects throughout RIBA Stages 4 to 6.
  • Coordinate project information with architects, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical details, specifications and Building Regulations documentation.
  • Ensure all technical information complies with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
  • Attend site inspections, design team meetings and client meetings as required.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior members of the technical team.
  • Help deliver projects on time, within budget and to a high technical standard.

About You

  • Extensive UK experience as an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist.
  • Strong technical expertise with an excellent understanding of construction detailing and building technology.
  • Highly proficient in Revit, with AutoCAD experience considered advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and current construction practices.
  • Proven experience delivering projects through the technical and construction stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects while working effectively within a collaborative team environment.
