Position: Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: Wrexham
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Further Benefits To Be Discussed

Our client is a well-established RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice with over 100 years of industry experience, and they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team in Wrexham. Delivering innovative and technically driven designs across the UK, they work on a diverse portfolio of projects within the Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Industrial, and Residential Development sectors, with project values ranging from approximately £250,000 to £15 million.

Joining the practice offers the opportunity to become part of a friendly, close-knit team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are at the heart of the business. With a healthy pipeline of secured work, Revit-based work environment, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist looking to take the next step in their career.

Overview

  • Lead and independently manage a variety of architectural projects from inception through to completion.
  • Deliver technically focused projects across the healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and residential development sectors.
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings, construction details, and drawing packages using Revit.
  • Liaise directly with clients, contractors, consultants, and local authorities throughout project delivery.
  • Work on both new-build and refurbishment projects with values ranging from approximately £250k to £15 million.
  • Collaborate within a friendly, multidisciplinary team in a highly technical and supportive office environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the architectural team.

Requirements

  • Experience independently running projects.
  • Several years' post-qualification experience within an architectural practice.
  • Good knowledge of Revit.
  • Strong technical and detailing ability.
  • Confident liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Experience across healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, or residential development sectors would be beneficial.
  • Ability to mentor and support junior team members.
