Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Design team, delivering a wide range of design work across the full project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead their own Projects as well as working within a team on larger projects.
  • Maintain and update drawings, technical documents, and manuals so that all project and asset records are fully up to date.
  • Develop designs to meet technical requirements, producing specifications and solutions for a wide range of problems and issues.
  • Produce accurate, well-coordinated Revit models and drawings in line with company and industry BIM standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced members of the technical team, reviewing outputs for quality and consistency.
  • Develop and extend a catalogue of standard details and solutions for common design problems.
  • Produce project programmes for construction works so that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure accurate administration of technical work, including drawing numbering, issue control, storage, and retrieval.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to a standard that maintains and enhances the company's reputation for quality, in line with the Business Plan.
  • Ensure client expectations on requirements, budgets, and programme are met and maintained to the highest standard.
  • Contribute to the execution of all work in accordance with CDM Regulations and other relevant statutory and legal requirements.
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients, their agents, and other consultants.
  • Operate in accordance with the company's Health, Safety, and Quality systems, and develop effective working relationships across teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
