Our living sector team designs living accommodation for all facets of the residential sector, working for the full range of public, private, and third-sector organisations, ranging from high-rise apartment buildings to low-rise family housing schemes. Our reputation is particularly strong at a national level across the later living sector, designing buildings for care, extra care, and retirement.

We are looking for a technically orientated Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist who will be responsible for the preparation of drawings, designs, specifications, and schedules to suit design development and information release requirements. In addition, the role will involve assisting with client management and design team coordination.

This is a great opportunity for a creative, focused, and ambitious individual to join a small team of a successful national practice and be a key technical lead in our Brighton studio. We are looking for individuals who can hit the ground running and be instrumental in the delivery of schemes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
