Job Title: Senior Architectural Technologist (Hybrid)

Salary: £28 - £34 per hour

Job Type: Contract – 6 months with a view for extension (inside IR35)

Location: London – minimum 1 day per week in the studio, 4 days from home

Mustard Jobs are working with a leading AJ100 multidisciplinary architectural practice with studios across the UK, who are looking to strengthen their Manchester team with an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist on a contract basis. The practice works across a range of technically complex and highly regulated sectors, including Defence, Nuclear, Power and Life Sciences. Due to an expanding project pipeline and ongoing delivery requirements, they are looking for a technically strong individual who can hit the ground running and contribute to projects already in the delivery phase.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience producing technical detailing packages and construction information, with a strong understanding of the requirements involved in taking complex projects through the delivery stage.

The Role

  • Working on technically complex projects across Defence, Nuclear, Power and Life Sciences.
  • Producing detailed technical and construction information packages.
  • Supporting projects through the delivery and construction phases.
  • Working closely with architects, engineers, consultants and wider project teams.
  • Reviewing and coordinating technical information to ensure projects progress effectively.
  • Contributing to the resolution of technical and construction-related issues.
  • Working within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

About You

  • Significant experience working as an Architectural Technologist, ideally at Senior level.
  • Extensive experience in technical detailing and construction information.
  • Strong experience working on projects through the delivery phase.
  • Proven ability to coordinate technical information across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced Revit proficiency is essential.
  • Experience within technically complex or highly regulated sectors is highly desirable.
  • Experience with BIM level 2
  • Strong understanding of construction, technical standards and detailing.
  • Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment.

The Package

  • Up to £34 per hour
  • 6-month initial contract, with the potential for extension.
  • Inside IR35.
  • Minimum 1 day per week in the London studio.
  • Opportunity to work on technically complex projects across some of the UK's most highly regulated sectors.
