Join a Team Delivering High-Quality Residential Developments

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician / Senior Designer to play a key role in the delivery of complex multi-storey residential developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who thrives in detailed design, enjoys coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and takes pride in seeing projects successfully through construction and completion.

Working alongside an established Technical/Design Manager, you will take ownership of the technical design process, producing and coordinating comprehensive technical information while ensuring projects progress efficiently from detailed design through to delivery.

The Role

As a Senior Architectural Technician / Senior Designer, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day technical progression of projects, ensuring design information is coordinated, compliant, and delivered to programme.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing, managing and reviewing detailed RIBA Stage 4 technical drawing packages.
  • Coordinating and integrating third-party consultant information into the overall design package.
  • Managing consultant reports, approvals, and technical submissions.
  • Supporting projects through the Building Safety Act gateway approval process and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
  • Liaising with architects, engineers, specialist consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying and resolving technical and design coordination issues.
  • Providing ongoing technical support to site teams throughout RIBA Stages 5 and 6.
  • Ensuring technical information is accurate, buildable, and delivered in line with programme requirements.
  • Monitoring design changes and maintaining project documentation.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of high-rise and complex residential developments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
