Senior Area Sales Manager – Leisure & Fitness Equipment
A market-leading manufacturer and designer of leisure and fitness equipment is seeking a Senior Area Sales Manager to join their growing team. Known for products that combine the latest technology with strategic design choices, the company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality, inclusive solutions to clients across the UK.
This role will focus on developing new business opportunities while nurturing long-term client relationships. The successful candidate will build in-depth knowledge of the product range and work consultatively to deliver tailored solutions. With an emphasis on securing larger, high-value deals, the approach is selective—prioritising quality partnerships over volume.

This is a field-based position covering London and Home Counties.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, scheduling a target number of client meetings
- Represent the brand by curating and performing pitches
- Complete quote request forms using information from site surveys
- Attend industry events and conferences to build network and knowledge of sector
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully

The Successful Candidate
- 3+ years field sales experience
- Experience selling fitness equipment, leisure equipment, playgrounds or similar is ideal
- Must have sold to architects or local authorities
- Experience conducting site surveys is ideal
- Must have a valid UK driving license
- Based in London or Essex ideally
Senior Area Sales Manager Package
- Basic salary: £60,000-70,000
- OTE: +£30,000 (uncapped)
- Company car or car allowance provided
