Artwork Changeover Lead

Up to £580/day Outside IR35 or c. £430/day PAYE

About the Role

Could this be you?

  • Have you led artwork, packaging, labelling, rebranding or SKU change programmes across multiple markets?
  • Have you managed stock run-out, obsolete inventory or write-off exposure during a major product or packaging transition?
  • Have you worked on a corporate separation, carve-out, rebrand or major transformation involving multiple markets, factories or systems?

The Opportunity

This is a senior contract opportunity to help lead a large-scale global transition from legacy-branded products to newly branded artwork.

The artwork itself is only part of the challenge. The real complexity sits downstream: managing old packaging and finished-goods exposure, coordinating production cut-offs, ensuring new SKUs are available at the right time and reducing the financial impact of obsolete inventory.

You will work across a fast-moving global programme involving Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Master Data and local markets.

This will suit someone who is comfortable taking ownership in a complex matrix environment, challenging assumptions and driving practical outcomes at pace.

What You Will Be Doing

  • You will lead the operational changeover from legacy artwork to newly branded products across multiple markets and deployment waves.
  • A major part of the role will be creating clear visibility of legacy finished goods and packaging materials and working with markets, factories and Supply Chain teams to develop effective stock run-out plans ahead of agreed cut-off dates.
  • You will challenge projected write-offs and identify practical ways to reduce obsolete inventory. This could include revised production volumes, controlled sell-through, distributor activity, changes to minimum order quantities, relabelling or other commercially sensible solutions.
  • You will coordinate the run-down of old stock with the introduction and availability of newly branded products and SKUs.
  • Alongside the operational changeover, you will map and improve the end-to-end artwork, SKU creation and product master-data process, including the transition period where legacy systems and a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment operate in parallel.
  • You will also help build a bottom-up view of transition costs and provide clear reporting on inventory exposure, projected write-offs, risks, decisions and progress by market and deployment wave.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
