Senior Asset Finance / Commercial Finance Broker — Build Your Own Team

London / Hybrid
Up to £75k Basic + Uncapped OTE - £150k+

Are you a top performing Broker who aspires to leading your own team? Keen to work on high value transactions within the Asset Finance, Commercial Finance and Business Finance sectors?

This is a rare opportunity. We're looking for an experienced Asset Finance and / or Commercial Finance broker who's ready to step up and lead a team - with an opportunity to progress through to director for the right person.

You'll join a long established, highly regarded financial services group with the backing, panel of lenders, and infrastructure to help you write great business from day one. This isn't just another broker position, it's an opportunity to shape and grow a new team across Asset Finance, Commercial Finance, Business Finance, Invoice Finance and Trade Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing new business across asset, commercial, and/or business finance.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to business owners, financial advisers, and introducers, structuring finance solutions that genuinely work for their needs.
  • Comfortable dealing with HNW clients / Senior business decision makers.
  • Gradually building out a team around you - recruiting, mentoring, and developing brokers as the desk grows.
  • Working closely with senior leadership to shape strategy, process, and culture for the new team.
  • Progressing toward a director position as the team and your track record grow.

Experience required:

  • A proven track record in Asset Finance, Commercial Finance or Business Finance - you don't need experience across all of these, just strong results in at least one.
  • Trade Finance experience would be a major bonus.
  • A genuine self-starter who's happy to roll their sleeves up and write business, not just manage from day one.
  • Ambition to build and lead a team, with the patience and people skills to develop others.
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills, with the ability to build trust and influence both internal stakeholders (colleagues, leadership, support teams) and external stakeholders (clients, introducers, lenders, advisers).
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a consultative approach to client needs.
  • Existing industry connections and a track record of generating and converting introductions (highly desirable, not essential).
  • The drive and credibility to grow into a senior leadership role over time.
