The Company:
Madison Berkeley have been exclusively instructed by an Institutional Real Estate Property Company who manage one of the largest Commercial portfolios across the UK. This fast-paced property company is looking to strengthen their London team with an experienced commercial asset manager who'll take ownership of a national portfolio. The successful candidate will be fully supported by commercial property managers and facility managers.
This progressive and inclusive company has been improving their operational performance over the past couple of years, implementing new Tech & AI initiatives to drive customer satisfaction, portfolio performance and capital value.

The Role: Senior Asset Manager
- Develop and execute, medium and long-term asset management strategies across a large industrial focused portfolio.
- Take ownership of portfolio performance, identifying opportunities, managing risk and driving value add initiatives.
- Managing lease regearings, renewals, surrenders, re-lettings, customer retention, repositioning and refurbishment opportunities.
- Lead asset management input into capex, redevelopment, acquisitions and disposals, ensuring investment decisions align with asset business plans.
- Manage the property lifecycle, including bringing vacant assets back to market and maximising opportunities across the portfolio.
- Use market intelligence, financial information and portfolio data to support commercial decision-making and identify emerging opportunities.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in commercial asset management, ideally across a large, multi-let portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of commercial leases and L&T legislation, with substantial experience managing complex transactions and negotiations.
- Strong commercial judgement, analytical ability and a track record of delivering measurable value through asset management initiatives.
- People Management, Report writing, Stakeholder Management - Useful!
- MRICS qualification preferred but not essential.
