Are you an experienced Asset Manager who can hit the ground running? A leading organisation within the Defence Services sector is seeking a Senior Asset Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract due to increased workload.

This is a highly mobile role, so candidates must be centrally based and genuinely comfortable travelling extensively across the UK.

The Role

As The Senior Asset Manager, You’ll

  • Lead and work alongside two Asset Surveyors.
  • Manage asset activity across a large national portfolio.
  • Travel to sites from Cornwall to Newcastle depending on business requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective asset management.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance and asset information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
  • Provide experienced leadership and support to ensure the increased workload is delivered effectively.

To Be Successful, You’ll Bring

  • Strong, proven asset management experience and the ability to make an immediate impact.
  • Experience managing or leading Asset Surveyors or similar teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively across the UK.
  • A central UK base that enables effective travel across the portfolio.

Please note: UK-wide travel is a fundamental requirement of this position. While you won't be continuously working away from home, you must be willing and able to travel wherever the portfolio requires.
