Senior Asset Valuations Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Asset Valuations Analyst to join us in our London office. This 12-month contract is suited to an experienced valuations analyst who can add immediate hands-on support to the Asset Valuations team, with limited ramp-up.

The role will focus on strengthening valuation oversight across OTC derivatives and secured finance products, supporting remediation of valuation issues, enhancing controls and improving day-to-day processes. The contractor will work closely with internal stakeholders, model owners, vendors, counterparties, and outsourced partners to maintain high valuation standards, reduce operational risk and provide practical technical expertise where additional capacity and specialist knowledge are required.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily, monthly and quarterly quality control checks across OTC derivative and secured finance asset valuations, identifying breaks, exceptions and areas requiring escalation
  • Work directly with pricing model owners and internal stakeholders to investigate valuation issues and support practical remediation plans
  • Track valuation findings, recommendations and management action plans, ensuring actions are progressed, evidenced, and closed within agreed timelines
  • Prepare MI, metrics, and committee reporting for asset valuations, including input for OTC Pricing and Valuation Committees
  • Support valuation policy and practice awareness by working with key stakeholders to clarify processes, controls, and required standards
  • Identify and deliver improvements to valuation processes, procedures, and controls, with a focus on reducing operational risk and improving consistency
  • Engage with market data vendors, counterparties, and outsourced partners to resolve valuation queries and support the valuation of Insight-managed positions
  • Support pricing and valuation policy maintenance, including adherence checks, updates, and preparation for appropriate committee review and approval
  • Assist with model validation testing, including review of model inputs, assumptions, and valuation methodology

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
