We are looking to recruit outstanding individuals to become a pivotal part of our Business Support Services (BSS) team within Enterprise Business Services, EBS.
The Deal Support Hub (DSH)
Part of Business Support, the Deal Support Hub (DSH) plays a vital role in supporting Deloitte's Technology and Transformation business through pivotal deal qualification, shaping, and approval processes. This role supports Deloitte’s client-facing teams through critical governance, driving exceptional quality and risk mitigation. DSH tracks all new business (sales) opportunities, from identification of new opportunities and collaborating with senior business leaders and client-facing team members to triage these opportunities to ensure appropriate governance based on the deals’ size and complexity.
Responsibilities
- Support client-facing teams by identifying sales opportunities in our Global Engagement Management System (Jupiter), tracking and managing them through a dedicated workflow and case management system, and ensuring timely support.
- Scheduling key meetings using Teams and Outlook, confirming meeting quorum, recording minutes for key stakeholders, and securely storing meeting records in our Global Deloitte Quality System (DEP).
- Responding to Quality and Risk Management queries, working to tight deadlines, and following ISO9001 standards.
Ideal Candidate
This role requires coordination with teams across various business units and countries and will be of interest to those who have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and good organisational skills. Ingenuity, resilience, and integrity, with an ability to use your own initiative to resolve problems quickly will be key to success in this role.

Ideal Candidates
Ideal candidates will be looking to either start a career in Business Support, or Executive Assistants that are looking for a new challenge. You will have access to a comprehensive support and training package designed to familiarise yourself with Deloitte and the things we do as a firm.
Role Description
- Pipeline management and case flow: You will help identify new business (sales) opportunities that are eligible for support to navigate our deal qualification, shaping and/or approval processes. You will engage with the teams working on those deals to provide that support; each deal is tracked in our workflow system, and each team member will be responsible for proactively progressing a portfolio of deals that are allocated to them, ultimately towards business approval.
- Triage deals for appropriate support and/or approval review: You will assess the size, complexity and risks of a prospective deal and our proposed bid response and use defined business logic to determine the degree of support that is required, and the level of approval needed to obtain business agreement to submit the bid response to our client.
- Escalate to business leaders when necessary: Our business is complex, and defined business logic can be challenged, and may not account for every eventuality. On occasions you will need to collaboratively work with business leaders to ensure prospective deals receive the right level of support and approval.
- Organise meetings between bid teams and senior business leaders: We work with senior leaders from across the firm and across borders. You will need to confidently engage with these leaders and their executive assistants to negotiate meeting times in busy schedules and across different time zones, often under tight deadlines.
- Ensure appropriate meeting quorum: The meetings we facilitate are a critical part of our firm’s governance framework, and making sure the right people are in the meeting is vital for ensuring a full and considered review towards enabling us the scale safely. This will involve following up for attendance, or sourcing delegates where this is not possible.
- Produce meeting records and disseminate: You will attend the meetings you schedule, which will cover a broad range of topics at the heart of our firm’s bidding process including technology design, commercial modelling and risk and mitigation. Supported by AI tools you will produce a summary of the discussion and follow-up actions to be shared with the required audience.
- Maintain ISO9001 standards: What we do forms a critical component of our firm’s governance framework, and we need to evidence to our regulators that our internal processes are robust and effective. Adhering to ISO9001 standards is therefore essential for us delivering a service that meets both our customer and regulatory requirements.
- Shared mailbox management: You will efficiently manage a high volume of emails through a shared mailbox, prioritising urgent requests, and ensuring timely responses. Topics can range from requests for support through to general Quality and Risk Management queries.
- Maintain a positive, professional and proactive approach: Our team exists to support client-facing teams to win in the market and protect the firm through established quality and risk measures, so articulating thoughts and ideas in a manner which instils confidence in others and builds relationships at all levels across the business is necessary.
- Seek out continuous improvement initiatives: We are keen to improve what we do and how we do it, and so you will demonstrate a degree of professional scepticism and a desire to improve the services we provide to our internal teams, working with our wider Quality and Risk Management function to do so collaboratively and constructively.
- Attend team meetings in person: You will be aligned to either our Cardiff or Newcastle office location and expected to work in person 1-2 days per week, depending on the needs to the team. Occasional travel will also be required to our London office, which is typically once per month.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
