IMG is seeking an experienced Senior Live Assistant Producer to assist in producing Euroleague Basketball’s World Feed live output, ensuring that it is all produced to the highest editorial and technical specification.
You will also lead projects on behalf of the production and need to communicate and collaborate with third parties.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Responsibility (in conjunction with the Producer) for delivery of the EuroCup (EC) and EuroLeague (EL) World Feeds on time to agreed specification.
- Help define the editorial content and direction of EL/EC World Feed.
- To liaise with all broadcast partners regarding the production of EL/EC games and providing feedback as appropriate.
- Scheduling and production coordination.
- Representing the Producer and department when required in meetings.
- Produce live outside broadcasts from around Europe.
- Producing the quality control room on game nights.
- Responsible for material produced for game running orders, including graphics, VT, and sound.
- Lead projects on behalf of the production.
- Involvement in production of showpiece EuroLeague Final Four and EuroCup Final.
- Helping to produce media days.
- Generating original ideas.
- Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines for broadcaster/client as appropriate.
- You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

Required Knowledge and Experience
- Strong background as a Live Sports Assistant Producer, including live Outside Broadcasts (OBs).
- Proven ability to lead projects on behalf of the production team.
- Experienced in building and maintaining effective relationships with external clients.
- Demonstrable people management and team leadership skills.
- Ability to help shape the editorial content and direction of a programme.
- Confident creating detailed running orders for live sports programmes.
- Skilled in edit producing programmes and VT inserts for live transmission.
- Comfortable working with on-screen talent, including commentators and sports stars.
- Experience on a wide range of sports programming, including live OB’s.
- Proficient in self-editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Avid.
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrates strong editorial judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Understanding of production workflows.
- Ability to create original ideas and produce compelling content.
- Able to demonstrate excellent research ability and attention to detail.
- Shows initiative and prioritises workload without close supervision.
- Maintain good client/broadcaster relationships where appropriate.
- Proven organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the time constraints involved in production.

Working Conditions
- This is a full-time fixed-term contract role until 11th June 2027.
- This role is based at our office in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
- You will be required to travel internationally.
- You will be required to work late nights on game days and may need to work over weekends, the festive period, Easter, and bank holidays.
