About ATP Media:

ATP Media is the broadcast and media arm of the ATP Tour. The company manages the production, distribution, and commercial exploitation of the broadcast rights of the ATP Masters 1000 and Nitto ATP Finals tennis tournaments as well as the ATP 500 events, ATP 250s and the ATP Next Gen Finals.

Additionally, ATP Media produces and distributes Original Programming, Non-Live Content – including social, digital, branded content and linear, servicing partners and stakeholders across the ATP Tour season.

The company also owns and operates Tennis TV, the official live video streaming subscription service of the ATP Tour. Tennis TV streams every ATP Tour tournament to a global audience, with over 2,000 live matches a year, to www.tennistv.com and a wide range of streaming devices.

About The Role:

ATP Media is seeking an experienced and motivated Shooter Editor to create Original and Branded content across a variety of formats and platforms, including social, digital, broadcast, creator-led and YouTube content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, engaging non-live tennis content for social, digital and linear platforms.
  • Collaborate with Producers and take a leading role in the shooting and editing of projects.
  • Engage in all aspects of production, including ideation, planning, shooting, edit-producing, editing, music selection and graphics.
  • Camerawork, lighting and sound on location.
  • Editing on site or in the studio/office.
  • Self-produce content when required, taking ownership from concept through to delivery.
  • Organise and maintain camera equipment as required.
  • Play a key role within a team dedicated to producing innovative and audience-focused content.
  • Work independently to identify, develop and create entertaining stories, formats and content opportunities.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across ATP Media, the ATP Tour and tournaments to develop content strands, one-off features and filming opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas that resonate with modern audiences and reflect current platform trends and viewing habits.
  • Provide assistance to Producers in all aspects of content delivery.
  • Deliver editorially sound and entertaining content within strict deadlines.
  • Ensure the highest quality of output, demonstrating creative flair and strong editorial judgement throughout production and post-production.
  • Respond positively and proactively to feedback from Producers and stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with developments across social platforms, content formats and creator trends, applying relevant learnings to ATP Media output.
  • Support the development of new and existing content series, formats and franchises, helping to grow audience engagement across ATP Media platforms.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in operating a range of professional camera, lighting and audio equipment, including Sony FS7, FX6, FX9, and FX3, ensuring high-quality footage across various production environments.
  • Proficiency in using a range of editing software.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge:
    • Dynamic, resourceful and adaptable, with an awareness of emerging trends, platform developments and audience behaviours.
    • Ability to shoot, light and edit to a high standard, with extensive experience using professional Sony camera systems.
    • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, including audio mixing, colour correction and finishing to broadcast standards.
    • Strong working knowledge of the wider Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator.
    • Good understanding of social media platforms, digital content and audience engagement.
    • Knowledge of AI tools and workflows, with the ability to use them responsibly to improve creative output and production efficiency.
    • Experience producing and editing short-form video features and social-first content.
    • Experience overseeing and supervising edits.
    • Experience writing scripts, treatments and creative pitches for short-form content and promos.
    • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing and content packaging.
    • Good knowledge of professional tennis and the wider sports media landscape.
    • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
    • Understanding of different platform requirements and formats, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok (and broadcast).
    • Ability to identify and develop content opportunities around players, tournaments and emerging storylines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a wide range of sports programming, delivering short/medium and long-form content.
  • Specialist tennis knowledge.
  • Experience working on post-produced tennis programming.
  • Good general sports knowledge.
  • Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
