Senior Associate – Media, Entertainment & Sport

An award-winning, boutique law firm with a reputation as one of the market leaders advising clients across the entertainment, media, sport and wider creative industries is looking for a Senior Associate – with in-house experience considered a definite positive.

The Opportunity

Rather than being confined to a single sector, you will advise across the full range of industries the firm supports – from sport and broadcast to wider media, entertainment and creative businesses. That breadth is a deliberate feature of the role: you will work on a varied mix of commercial agreements without the narrower sector boundaries that often come with practising in a more traditionally siloed team.

Candidates with in-house experience are very welcome to apply. The partner leading this practice is especially keen to meet lawyers who have combined time at a reputable firm with an in-house stint, given the insight that experience brings into how legal teams collaborate with the business and the commercial – not just legal – challenges in-house teams face day to day.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
