Banking & Finance Solicitor
Location: Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, or Cardiff
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Banking & Finance Solicitor to join our highly regarded team, acting on a broad range of complex and high-value transactions for a prestigious client base, including major UK banks such as Lloyds, NatWest, HSBC, Santander, and Clydesdale Bank.
Role Overview
Working alongside colleagues across our Corporate and Real Estate teams, you will advise clients on a variety of banking and finance matters, including:
- Acquisition finance
- Property finance
- Asset-based lending
- Restructuring
- Refinancing
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on banking and finance transactions and arrangements.
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements.
- Leading and supporting transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Managing client relationships and attending client meetings.
- Supervising junior team members and coordinating transaction workstreams.
- Supporting business development activities and helping to grow the team's profile and client base.

Requirements
We are seeking a commercially minded lawyer with:
- Experience in banking and finance matters, including some or all of acquisition finance, property finance, development finance, restructuring, and refinancing.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive, ambitious, and collaborative mindset.
- A genuine interest in business development and growing a successful practice.
