Senior Associate
THE ROLE
The ideal candidate is looking to gain experience working on consulting-style engagements for firms and organizations in a wide range of industries, including but not limited to technology, health care, finance, public affairs and entertainment, helping them to understand their most important reputational challenges. Senior Associates will quickly learn to manage projects on their own, including interacting with and advising clients directly.
Our associates come from a diverse array of educational backgrounds, with broad representation across humanities, social sciences, communications and public policy, as well as within business and economics. They have in common a desire to learn about the challenges that organizations face, and how research conducted in the context of the cultural landscape and the market environment can guide the strategic thinking required to drive future business decisions and communications.
Candidates should already have experience in a market research, comms or public affairs agency, and must be both comfortable with analyzing and interpreting numbers and persuasive, elegant writers. Senior Associates will assist with the development, implementation and analysis of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to develop communications strategies for managing reputations and responding to crises. An understanding of strategic communications, how messages reach audiences and shape decisions, is a strong advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contributing to the full research lifecycle, from proposal writing and study design through to analysis, reporting and client presentations
- Drafting first drafts of clear, well-structured memos, reports and decks that translate research findings into actionable insight for senior audiences
- Working across qualitative and quantitative methodologies, such as proprietary polling, in-depth interviews, focus groups and other research methodologies
- Supporting and eventually leading client relationships, communicating findings and recommendations with confidence
- Collaborating with colleagues across our global offices on shared projects and business development
- Mentoring more junior colleagues as you grow into the role

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
