Banking & Finance Senior Associate (4+ PQE) | Broad Banking & Finance Practice | Growing London Practice
If you’re a Banking & Finance Solicitor looking for greater ownership of transactions and more direct exposure to clients, this is an opportunity to join a growing London firm where you can take on a senior role within its Banking & Finance offering.
- You will work closely with senior lawyers while having the autonomy to manage your own matters, develop client relationships and become a visible part of a practice with strong links across the firm's Corporate, Real Estate and international client base.
The Firm
This is a growing, multi-service London firm with three offices across the capital and an increasingly international client base. The firm acts for multinational businesses, banking and financial institutions, entrepreneurs, HNW individuals and family offices, with a particularly strong network of overseas clients investing and doing business in the UK.
- Its international reach is a genuine differentiator. The firm has developed an extensive network across multiple overseas markets and advises across corporate, finance, property, disputes and wider commercial matters, creating opportunities for lawyers to work across departments and develop relationships with clients requiring advice in multiple areas.
The firm continues to grow its City offering and has developed experience across banking, financial services and corporate finance alongside an established property practice, providing a strong wider platform for a Banking & Finance lawyer joining the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will have significant autonomy over your matters and direct exposure to clients while working closely with senior lawyers on more complex transactions.
