We're looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to play a leading role in growing and developing our dilapidations and technical due diligence offering across the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Associate who enjoys combining technical excellence with client development and business growth. You'll take ownership of a high-profile service line within an established and respected consultancy, helping to strengthen our market presence whilst delivering expert advice to a diverse client base.
Working closely with colleagues across the wider Building Surveying team, you'll lead on complex dilapidations and technical due diligence instructions, build long-term client relationships, and help shape the future direction of the service in the region. You'll also have the opportunity to influence strategy, mentor junior surveyors and contribute to the continued growth of our South West business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
