Senior Associate – Director Services | London | 5+ PQE
I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a highly regarded specialist London law firm with an excellent reputation across commercial litigation, insolvency, restructuring, and director advisory work.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join their Director Services team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys complex litigation, direct client contact, and working on high-value matters involving directors, shareholders, HNWIs, SMEs, and private individuals.
The Role
You will work on a varied and technically challenging caseload, and will need experience in the following areas:
- Director disqualification and defence
- Insolvency and restructuring litigation
- Shareholder and corporate disputes
- Personal and corporate insolvency
- Misfeasance and fiduciary duty claims
- Transactions at undervalue and s.423 claims
- Winding-up applications
- Freezing orders and other interim applications
- Complex commercial litigation

What they’re looking for
- 5+ years PQE
- Strong commercial and insolvency litigation experience
- Experience acting for directors and/or individuals
- Experience with Director Disqualification proceedings, ideally including s.17 CDDA applications
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and litigation skills
- Experience with witness statements, disclosure, interim applications, mediation, and trial preparation
- Confident dealing directly with clients
- Commercially minded and solutions-focused
- Able to manage complex matters with autonomy
- An interest in business development and developing client relationships
- Comfortable embracing modern legal technology, AI, and innovative ways of working
